Sunny days and lemon trees

It is as grey and boring weather here in Vilnius as it only can be in November. On days like this it is nice to get some sun and energy at least in the form of photographs! So here comes part one of my photos from a village in the mountains of Cyprus, called Vouni. I made my practical training at The Donkey Sanctuary Cyprus in February-April 2011 and lived in this small, cosy village with an internet connection only in one of the two tavernas, narrow and steep streets, old people and unisolated houses (I'm not missing that occasional inside temperature of +8°C way too much).

I lived in the last house of the village, and along this way I very often walked higher up to the mountains.

A summer cottage interior

I love my friends' summer cottage: it's cosy and the interior is laid-back with some nice details.

What I miss now is summer

Sun, shorts, grass, light breakfasts, berries, flowers, chilly mornings of hot days, tanned skin...

I figured that since I have taken so many thousand pictures during the past years, it would be stupid to mainly only store them on my computer and dvd:s which I rarely even look at. So whenever I have the time and inspiration, I'll add here pictures from past years, trips, places: under the tag old times in pictures.

After the after party

On Monday, when I was shortly visiting Stockholm and sleeping over at a dear friend's place with my Swedish friend from Vilnius, we celebrated both my brand new Swedish citizenship and my friend's shiny Bachelor of Arts -certificate! This is how the world (ie. the kitchen) looked like in the next morning..

Style change

Just changed the style in here a bit, got so tired of the tiny pictures... And now I lllike it!
